For objects by Tanya V. Abelson has contributed a series of three bags, part of 'TVA RUBBER GARMENTS', an upcycling project by in which inner tubes from truck tyres are transformed into garments. By cutting, folding, and vulcanising the tyres, a new phase of the material emerges in unique shapes as bags, purses, backpacks, and clothing. The garments feature designs that pri-oritise comfort, utility, and long-lasting perfor-mance. Every step of the production process is handmade, and the materials are carefully selected and checked to ensure a high-quality product.
